These lists were developed to help students and their families choose summer reading materials. They include some wonderful classics, as well as some new favorites, and are meant to be suggestions only. Every child reads and learns at their own pace; find out what your child likes to read, then let them read it! Also, remember that we are never too old to be read to. This is a wonderful way to foster fluency and comprehension skills, and what better way to relax after a busy summer day!
