PAWS (prevention and wellness students) and VKAT (Vermont Kids Against Tobacco)

PAWS is a student run group dedicated to helping friends and families learn to make healthy choices and support overall wellness in our school.  Students in the the group organize in school and out of school events to educate there community, learn leadership skills, play games, and have fun.  We are funded through VKAT and issues of smoking and second hand smoke are part of our mission as a group.  2008/09 was the first year that Charlotte Central School received a grant to create a VKAT funded group.  We are proud and pleased to have a students from grades 6-8 this year and look forward to seeing how the group grows and changes.
