Welcome! I am looking forward to the new year!

About Me:  This will be my 11th year teaching in Charlotte. I have always taught first, second, or a combination of the two. This year I will have both first and second graders. I have lived in Charlotte for 20 years. My husband is a pediatrician in South Burlington. I have 4 sons. My oldest son is a lawyer living with his wife and new daughter in Boston. My second son is teaching second grade in Budapest, Hungary. He is working in a bilingual school and I am hoping we will be able to form a meaningful partnership with his class. My third son is in Africa doing volunteer work and my fouth son is a junior in college. I have two miniature pinschers named Tootsie and Ollie. I am an avid knitter.
