About Me My name is Peggy Coutu and I have been teaching at Charlotte Central School since 1971. Prior to that time I taught on Long Island, New York and in Hinesburg, Vermont. During my teaching career, I have taught all day kindergaraten, kindergarten/first grade, first grade, first/second grade, second grade, second/third grade, and fifth grade. Presently I am teaching a looping first and second grade. It is a joy to watch the progress of the children. I truly enjoy teaching.
I live in Shelburne, Vermont with my husband, Keith, and our daughter Emily. I am chair of the Shelburne Parks and Recreation Committee and have been for over twenty years. Emily is working at the Charlotte Childrens Center. We have two sons, Stuart and MIchael. Stuart lives in Longwood and is the general manager of used car dealership near Orlando, Florida. Michael, a lawyer,and his wife, Sarah who is a pharmacist, and their two children, Zoe and Ryan live in Grand Island, New York.
I enjoy being with my familly, teaching, reading, and traveling.
