Skipping Rubric (Grade 2) see below....

Critical Elements of Skipping 

 

1.  Step/hop alternating sides - required element

2.  Non-support leg up in front of body - hip flexion

3.  Hip extension on push off leg

4.  Maintains pattern

5.  Arms in opposition

Catching Rubric (Grade 3) see below....

FYI:

1. Catches a bounced ball with arms and body, arms stretched forward.

2. Catches bounced ball with hands and chest, scoop pattern with arms.

3. Catches thrown ball with arms and body.

4. Catches bounced ball with both hands.

5. Catches thrown ball with hands and chest.

6. Catches thrown ball with both hands.

7. Catches bounced tennis ball with both hands.

Overhand Throw Rubric (Grade 4)

 

Endurance Run Information.....

Grade 2.........Run lasts for 12 minutes

Expectation:  Student must be able to keep a steady pace for 8-10 minutes in a indoors jogging path.

Exceeds Expectations= Student sustains pace for 10-12 minutes

Meets Expectations=  Student sustains pace for 8-10 minutes

Nearly Meets Expectations=  Student sustains pace for 6-8 minutes

Needs Improvement=  Student sustains pace for <6 minutes

Grade 4........Run lasts for 15 minutes

Expectation:  Student must be able to keep a steady pace for 8-10 minutes in a indoors jogging path.

Exceeds Expecations= Student sustains pace for 12-15 minutes

Meets Expectations= Student sustains pace for 10-12 minutes

Nearly Meets Expectations= Student sustains pace for 7-10 minutes

Needs Improvement=  Student sustains pace for <7 minutes.
