***BIRDS' BODIES***

in the TECH ED ROOM, CHARLOTTE CENTRAL SCHOOL
Currently over 30 parent volunteers at
Charlotte
Central
School bring this “hands-on nature” program to our pre-K through grade 4 students. The program is designed to engage children to make connections with their natural world and to encourage them to assume a part of the responsibility in caring for the environment. This is accomplished with a variety of activities: puppet shows, experiments, scavenger hunts, art projects, pantomimes, and much more.
We welcome all (parents, grandparents, relatives, and community members who may not have children in school) to participate in the Four Winds program. It is a rich and interesting program with something for everyone. Check our school bulletin board, the FOUR WINDS SHELF in the school library, and the school newsletter for current activities and new announcements. Please direct questions to Deirdre Holmes.
